I found many personal flaws with my last layout, so I went ahead and switched to something simpler. I had fun picking out the color palette, wanted a theme to it. Mushrooms, it is.

I got my replacement MP3 player, and now I’ve been chillaxin’ in the bed with my selection of songs. I got a surplus of moolah so I picked up some books from Burlingham (which is right down the street from me). I got both omnibuses of Clamp’s Chobits and a book on slow-cooker recipes. I don’t have a slow cooker yet but I plan on buying one shortly. Anything to revive my love of easy cooking.

I had fun with Mr. Scribbles on the 27th. It was very relaxing with his kind of approach to drawing, that is which he calls “the point of departure”. What he does is scribble abstract things and “finds” images in the scribbles, kind of like scrying with tea leaves. He bases his whole business on it: letting children scribble and he creates drawings from those scribbles. He drew a lot for me, including a predator, which I will scan once my scanner decides to work. *grumble*
